Benchmark. Beaten
Exceeding performance benchmarks isn't merely a matter of numerical achievement. It embodies a unique ethos, a singular mindset characterised by spirit and unwavering commitment. Just take Simon Billy, for example. He has become the fastest human being on skis, reaching a chilling 255 km/h. That’s 160mph.
But what connects Simon's feat with McLaren? It's the shared relentless determination to redefine boundaries. It's the meticulous pursuit of cutting-edge technology and advanced materials. It's a tireless dedication to pushing every limit and honing every detail.
These are precisely the elements that make the 750S a new apex in supercars. Surpassing the benchmarks for performance, engagement and purity of response. True to its DNA.

The world’s fastest skier on his passion for breaking speed barriers, and how the 750S reflects his own approach to pushing the limits of performance.
The summit of the Pic de Chabrières mountain in France is a beautiful but lonely place. At 2750m, it crowns the Vars ski resort which is home to the infamous route called ‘The Corridor’, is a 1.2km run starting with a 98 per cent gradient that creates an extreme wall of ice.
Simon’s focus has paid off, recently smashing the world speed skiing record, travelling at 255km/h (nearly 160mph), becoming the fastest human ever on skis…
Born to push the boundaries. To relentlessly seek better. It’s what drives McLaren on road and track. And it’s what defines the new 750S. This is the next-level supercar. Shaped by obsessive improvement and refinement. Delivering more performance, efficiency and technology than ever. Lighter, more powerful and more engaging. Designed and engineered to provide pure thrills and long distance usability. Razor edged responses and genuine ride comfort.
For the first time, the 750S is launched as both a Coupe and Spider (with Retractable Hard Top) simultaneously. Two different kinds of elemental thrill. The same intoxicating breadth of abilities.
MSO is defined by the single-minded pursuit of individuality. Driven by the desire to create new benchmarks in craftsmanship and personalisation. And, with the Spectrum Theme, tailor-made for the thrilling new 750S, we’ve pushed further still.
Inspired by the stunning Velocity Theme by MSO, which used an exquisite paint fade that sparked an enduring personalisation trend, Spectrum takes MSO skill and vision to another level. A bold reflection of the 750S’s unique mix of design purity and emotive engineering.
Pushing the boundaries of skill and paint technology, the Spectrum Theme features a graded, subtle tonal change. It flows across the door panels. And has a seamlessly smooth fade across the rear fender. The effect is thrilling, making the car look as though it’s accelerating. Even when perfectly still.
Spectrum is available in Grey, Blue and Orange variants. But they are simply your starting point. The Grey option flows from Spectrum Grey to Metallic Meteorite Grey. Blue grades from Spectrum Blue to Metallic Aurora Blue. While the Orange theme begins with Spectrum Orange and builds to a rich potent Gamma Red Metallic. Each features no less than seven paint tones. Most have been specially formulated for this incredible application.
Complementing the exterior shades are accent colours that add aesthetic balance and visual drama. Such as the beautiful detailing on the underside of the 750S’s Active Rear Wing.
Each Spectrum Theme is available with a perfectly matched MSO Bespoke interior, selected to complement the chosen exterior colour... feel free to create your own version for that ultimate individual touch. Stunning Bespoke options include vibrantly coloured Leather, a Bespoke Dedication Plaque and Bespoke Painted Extended Visual Carbon Fibre Sills that feature hand-painted Spectrum graded effect MSO logos. Meticulous attention to detail and enduring craftsmanship surround you
The Spectrum Theme is a masterclass in technical skill and finely judged aesthetics. An archetypal MSO creation. And because everything we do is about helping to express your individuality, you are free to commission your own unique Spectrum Theme colourway. Our paint technicians will be very happy to make it happen.
